Have you been attending SeaGlass for a while and looking to find a place to serve? SeaGlass church, like many churches, is a volunteer-driven organization. We can’t host so many of our ministries without the dedicated support of our volunteers. There are many opportunities to serve.
Our kids are so precious. We feel it is an honor and a privilege to help the next generation develop a healthy relationship with our creator. We don’t aim to entertain, but to grow the faith of our little ones. Do you have a heart for kids? We NEED you. We have pressing needs for tea members in the pre-school and elementary age groups. Our volunteers are background checked and serve 1-2 times per month. Please contact Mary Beth Machin.
SeaGlass Youth (SGY)
SGY provides an opportunity for our youth to connect, grow and fall in love with Jesus. SGY needs youth leaders who are willing to mentor the next generation of Christ followers. All leaders are background checked and server 1-2 times per month. SGY also needs content creators for the newsletter team. Don’t let this next generation grow up without needed help. Reach out to Pastor John Oates for more information

Bread of Life Food Pantry
It’s no secret that in this current economy, many are struggling to make ends meet. Our food pantry offers free food and spiritual encouragement for those in need. Rain or Shine, our volunteers show up and greet our visitors with a smile. Our volunteers are required to work outside, lift over 25 pounds and serve once per month. Must be able to stock shelves with boxes of food supplies and setup/teardown tables. Our volunteers also minister to the spiritual needs of our guests. Service Coordinators have the primary responsibility to make our Sunday services run seamlessly (as possible). This highly responsible position requires that you check-in and make sure all our ministries have what they need to properly function. This includes ‘filing-in’ for a variety of ministries when there is a gap. Service Coordinators are the primary ‘point person’ or main contact for questions or directions and required to have a deep knowledge of our ministries and contacts. Service Coordinators act as greeters and are liaisons to the security team, maintaining situational awareness of both the flow of the service and changes happening outside the service. They also prep the sanctuary space with supplies as needed for service and for communion. Service Coordinators open and properly secure the building following church protocols. All our coordinators are background checked and serve 1-2 times per month. Do you have the ability to lead in a fast paced environment? Have a deep intimacy with our ministries and a heart to help make our Sunday services run smoothly? Please Contact Mandi Rutkowski or Marsha Tyler.
Service Coordinator (Online)
Online Service Coordinators | Hosts are the key to our SeaGlass online platforms. They welcome the Facebook, YouTube and SeaGlass church website guests, present weekly announcements, moderate posts for inappropriate content, share scripture and other encouragement to the online guests as the Lord leads. On our ChurchCenter platform, these ministers have the ability to engage in private prayer requests. Our volunteers are in constant internal contact with the tech team to provide feedback on video and sound quality to ensure an optimum viewing experience. Are you comfortable with social media and have a heart for engaging and connecting with others? Contact Chris Conte or Marsha Tyler.
Our church website needs some love. Do you have the skills to maintain a WordPress driven site? A heart for writing content along with website administration skills would make you an ideal candidate. Please contact Pastor Chris Conte or Marsha Tyler
Security is an important part of our weekly Sunday services. Our Security teams operate with the primary objective of keeping our kids and adults safe. They patrol the church grounds, monitor and address physical security threats as appropriate. All our team members are background checked and server 2 times per month. If you have an interest or background in security, we’d love to talk with you. Please contact Pastor Dave Rutkowski.
Celebrate Recovery (CR)
CR offers our local faith community a safe community to heal from hurts, habits and hang-ups that are holding them back from enjoying all God has to offer. This Christ-centered recovery program currently has need for small group leaders, musicians and tech team, and hospitality members to serve on Wednesday nights. Small-group leaders must have completed a step study to be considered. All CR leadership are required to sign and conform to a leadership covenant. For more information contact Pastor Joe Gregory.

SeaGlass Church is partnering with the Timothy Initiative who has seen more than one million disciples made and planted nearly 80,000 churches. We are planning micro-churches and developing next generation leaders to bring the church into the future. Volunteers must be willing to participate weekly in TTI cohort training to learn more about next steps. Are you interested in learning how to start a micro-church here in our area to make fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ? Are you willing to help lead others to grow in their faith?
